tigger tor - didnt race (tired from xc mud) instead went nice and steady as planned - jackie caught me at 5/6miles and while working out how to say ehriyr (?) on her vest i forgot to watch the ground...so landed on a big rock, cut my hipbone and knee - that was the end of me chasing her.
was disgraceful at heather running i hate it and its hidden rocks. definately didnt want a broken ankle so walked/jogged most of it while lots of men skipped past.
BUT a lovely relaxed fun muddy run and i got a pair of socks, would have liked a free cup of tea though (instead of the flapjacks no-one wanted on the hill)

muddiest cross country i've ever done. hardly running - more battling to free each leg from the sticky knee deep clay for 6km (extra muddy as last race)...fun, but could feel my lack of training - felt not very fit or fast

ran to intervals in muddy muddy endcliffe park, pretended to do knees up etc. with laura, got in everyones way jogging 9 slow loops, ran a long way home to make 1hour (calf ok after no run yesterday)

calf hurt a bit so did what i could without making it worse i hope: 1000, 400, 800, 1000. very annoying as felt really good apart from leg

nice early morning run, sleet and snow. it was fresh but the legs got v cold
crosspool, then to rivelin. felt miles better today
