Cross Country Race 33:00 [4] 4.5 mi (7:20 / mi)
Have had a really crap few weeks in terms of running - firstly the Yorkshire xc entirely destroyed my calfs, then I slipped over in the shower and whacked my si joint out of line. Couldn't run for 10 days before this race (that's a serious taper!), then dropped out on weds, then felt sad about missing it so decided I'd just plod round for the hell of it.
Really glad I did as it was great fun and we came away with team gold :-)
Finished feeling like I could've run harder but didn't really know how I'd feel. Absolutely loved every second of the race - mainly on a high after such a low 2 weeks!
Hopefully can build back to some consistency before the National xc.
