Cross Country Race 20:30 [4] 3.22 mi (6:22 / mi)

South Yorkshire XC at Norfolk Park.
Great course, really hilly, loved it. Legs not feeling especially sprightly after the fell relays so took it steady but ended up 3rd which was better than I expected after yesterday.

Looping around at the start, warmed down with Rachael.

Fell Race 29:09 [5] 2.7 mi (10:48 / mi)

FRA Relays leg 1. Straight steeply up to the top of a hill, down the other side and contoured back round and down. Not sure why the route was shortened - really enjoyed it though, not warmed up for the steep hill but overtook people going up and down. 2nd lady back, 9 seconds behind 1st. Sounds like we lost a bit of time on nav leg which looked horrendously difficult in the clag, but I think Anna made some places up on a good last leg bringing us back in 6th in the end!

A few strides to warm up as was stuck in starting pen. Mini jog afterwards - wanted to do more but was freezing in the drizzle. Fun cheering on our teams for the rest of the day and watching the DP men's team winning!
