I wanted to get 4:40 for the mile today and I was on pace for it the first 800, but I had absolutely no competition so the second 800 I slowed down a bit because I realized how much of a lead I had and I needed to save some energy for my next event.

It was really windy so when you ran it to it it was like running into a wall. So all our times were slower that they should have been. We did 2 800s at about 2:40 ,and then 2 800s at about 2:50, and then a mile at 5:40.

We did 2 sets of two 800s and then one 1600. The first set was at about a 2:25 pace and then the next set was a little slower, about a 2:40 pace. Then the last mile was supposed to be at the same pace as the previous set of 800s, but neither of us had the energy to do it, so we ended up doing it at about a 5:50 pace.

The first 800 was at a 5:04 pace, so we started off at a pretty chill pace. Then the last 600 I started to push the pace a little and the last 400 I passed the kid infront of my and won my event. As the season moves on i just need to work on my endurance because I would have liked to start my kick during the last 600 but I cant hold that kick for that long yet.

We lost the 4 by 400 by a lot. I was the first leg and got a 58.7 for my split, which is good for me. But the kid from the other team beat me by probably about 3 to 4 seconds and then the rest of the race just kept going down hill from there.
