Didn't run yesterday because I slept in the airport last night and I didn't want to smell like a bag of used socks for the whole night and then make everyone around me suffer during the plane ride to Prague. But today, even with the lack of sleep, I felt very refreshed during my run.

Ran from my Hostel in Barnavie to the visitor center of Ben Nevis.

Started running up Ben Nevis. I ran as much as I could, but I was probably only able to do between 1/3 and 1/2 of it. The rest I hiked at an aggressive pace.

Once I got to the top I sat down, ate lunch, and enjoyed the view, until I got cold about 15 minutes later. Then I ran down the whole mountain and to the store, arriving to have just enough to buy dinner before it closed. On the way down I did have a good trip. My toe caught a rock and the. I fell onto my hands and then went into a roll. I got pretty cut up and had some difficultly sleeping that night because it hurt for my palms to touch anything.

This was a hike/run through the mountains and hills around Torrin, Skye. I was hitch hiking all day and decided to finish it with a hike, unfortunately I got dropped off at the wrong spot. But instead of hitching to the right spot I decided to just go for it. It wasn't the best idea since I only had flip flops and my wallet with me, but it all turned out fine and I found some really cool, isolated places.

Yesterday I just rested as I traveled from Inverness to my knew WWOOFing host on the Isle of Skye. I will be here until saturday doing some work for them. Today, even with yesterday's rest I felt very slow and weak during my run. Not sure for the reason exactly, I have thought up several different explanations. Each seem just as likely.
