Today was the distance championships. So we got up around 5:15 so we could drive there and get there by 7:30. It was such a long day, I didn't get home until 9 at night.

Swam the 1650 for the first time, I had no idea how to pace for myself for it since im used to swimming the 100 so I ended up doing really bad. I will see next year if I want to swim it again.

Swam the 200 Back and the 200 Breast later in the afternoon. I improved my time by 4 seconds in the back and got a 2:30. Then by the time the breaststroke came up I was dead so I only got a 2:39 but I still got third in it.

We did 1950 yards, but I was wearing my new drag suit which made it harder, so by the end of practice I was tired cause we did some harder stuff in the middle. So I will take tomorrow off and sunday I have the Distance Champs where I am swimming the mile for the first time and two other events.

Easy practice, we only did 1650 yards, and i was glad. I am still sore from the rugby yesterday. Its mainly my glutes so its probably because I havent run in a while. I will probably start soon to get ready for outdoor track.

Me and my friend wanted to try it out so we drove up to worcester to play with a team. At the beginning we did speed and the rest we did handling work. It was pretty fun, I think we will go back next week.

Pool was very crowded, especially when we all had to move into three lanes after a half hour of using four lanes. But even with the lack of space we still got in 1950 yards.

Meet against Hampshire today, I thought they were better but it turns out they just had one really good kid. So I got second in the 200 IM with a 2:29, then I got a 57.58 in the 100 Freestyle, and a 1:10.44 in the 100 Breaststroke.

Didnt get much sleep last night because i was over my neighbors and then i got up early to go to the Tantasqua high school practice but it was canceled because of slippery roads. So I went to my regular practice and got a good work out. We did a total of 2900 yards.

YA! I swam this morning and qualified for New Englands in two events: the 50 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke. So on March 14th I will being going to Harvard University to compete in New Englands. My times were 0:24.92 for 50 freestyle, 1:10.32 for 100 breaststroke, and then I also got a 1:10. in the 100 back stroke.

Good practice did a total of 1975 yards. In the middle we did some hard stuff and then over and unders. Over and unders are when you swim normaly down and then you try to go back with no breaths.

We did a total of 3100 yard. The work out was 4 sets of 4 50s, starting on the one minute, and decreasing our time by 5 seconds for each one.
