After we did our warmup, stretch and strength we did a workout. It was really easy, just four 400s at about 75% with 4 minutes of rest in between each one where we walked and jogged around.

Coach told us that as the season moves on we are going to decrease the time of rest, but I think we should also increase the number of 400s to six or eight.

Our coach wanted us to do the time trial yesterday but we didnt because the track was flooded. It still is a big puddle but he wanted us to get in the time trial before its too close to our meet saturday, so we did it today in the rain. I forgot my flats at the school so I had to do it in my KSOs. It went well, only 9 seconds slower than my PR.

All of us were really sore from the whistle sprints we did monday, we think its because we aren't used to suddenly going into a full sprint over and over. so we took today pretty slow to recover from it.

First day of track practice, so coach had the entire team do whistle sprints for half an hour where we alternated between a walk, jog, and then a sprint for each whistle. No one was sure how many miles we did but we are guessing between 3 and 4 miles.

Yesterday morning I went to UCONN to do some stuff and then I had prom last night. So I stayed over my friends house and eventually passed out at 3 and woke up for pancakes at 8. So now I'm way to exhausted to do stuff, and I just got to do some homework then I will take a nap.

Went for a run after school and we a loop we did a few days ago but backwards and a little extra, this way we finished the run my going up a mile long hill. After we finished we did some 8 minute abs and stretched.

My knees are a bit bloody but every thing is alright. I did two separate warmups, one I did as soon as I got there. Then since Harvard has like a 30 lane pool we could warm up while others are swimming events, so I warmed up again three events before mine.

The 100 breaststroke was the only event I swam today. I didnt place too well, I got 20th, but I got my PR which was what I was really going for. So I got down to 1:08.99 which is the fastest I have swam that in over a year.

So todays attempt to make new englands in 50 free turned out to be a waste of 5 hours of my life. It takes two hours to get there and I attempted three times. The first run I got a 25.13 the second run I got a 25.10 and the third a 25.36; I had to get a 25.00 to qualify. So this year I will only be doing 100 breast in new englands.
