Running race (Wickham Park) 17:22 [4] 5.15 km (3:22 / km)
shoes: Asics, Hyper - XC

I did well. I got 15th out of 202. I came in two places behind Erik, but I didn't know that he was in the race until later on.

The next person on my team got 56th. Over all our team got 15th, so we didn't do to well.

Tomorrow we have another big invitational. This one is especially important because we are running on the same course that our state class meet is on. So we get to know it.

So today we just did a normal pre meet. We warmed up, double stretched, and ran some more. Then we came to my house for a pasta party.

Today we had a long run but half of the team didn't show up cause they were injured, had dentist, had to make up a test. So coach was pissed. He flipped out but he is not going to be here tomorrow. So during our pre-meet meeting on friday we all might as well all die cause he is pretty much going to kill us.

Anyways today we did a warm up, 25 jumping jacks, and stretched. Then we ran six miles, did 25 pushups, and went home. Coach is cutting down on distance now since we are nearing the end of the season, and we are starting to do more speed.

Tuesday Oct 7, 2008 #

Today was our last duel meet, but our coach told the top five runners to go easy and save our legs for our meet on saturday. So I basically comfort ran the who thing. But I still got 2ed and our team won 20 to 29

So when we got there we walked the course, warmed up, stretched, warmed up some more, did strides and then started the race. The course was just 2 laps around the perimeter of the school. I usually hate those type of races but this was alright. After we finished the other team had some food to share, and they had some really good bread so I took some for the ride home. After the food we cooled down, stretched, and went home.

Tomorrow we have our last duel meet. So today for our pre meet we warmed up and double stretched. Then we ran three miles and did 5 strides. We didn't have a pasta party today cause no one volunteered.
