10 AM

Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

11 AM

Running race 4:42 [3] 1.0 mi (4:42 / mi)
shoes: Bowerman Series

Probably could have gone faster if I had a bit more competition or if other kids from our distance team actually showed up.
12 PM

Running race 10:36 [3] 2.0 mi (5:18 / mi)
shoes: Vibram KSO

My coach told me to take it easy and rest from the mile but dont lose. So the first mile I was kinda just chilling, drafting off of some kid. But then I sped up and caught up to the first group and ended up getting second.

Running 4:00 [3]
shoes: Vibram KSO

Didnt really have time to do a proper cool down cause our team was leaving right after the last event and the 3200 was the second to last event. So I got in a quick four minutes and went home.

Running 28:21 [3] 3.3 mi (8:35 / mi)

We have a practice meet tomorrow somewhere up in mass, so today my neighbor and I did a premeet to prep for the meet.

Running warm up/down 4:02 [3] 0.5 mi (8:04 / mi)
shoes: Vibram KSO

Running tempo 7:18 [4] 1.5 mi (4:52 / mi)
shoes: Vibram KSO

Todays pratice was a bit harder, and having three hard days in a row just made it worse. We did three 800s at 85% effort, so for me I was going to do them on the 2:26. So I ended up getting

2:25
2:26
2:27

for each one. We also did 6 minutes of abs and he had us do as many push ups as we could with out stopping.

Running warm up/down 11:14 [3] 1.5 mi (7:29 / mi)
shoes: Vibram KSO

7 PM

Swimming 1:00:00 [1]

All we did was do 1200 yards for warm up then we practiced starts and did this thing called swimming golf.

Running warm up/down 7:26 [3] 1.0 mi (7:26 / mi)
shoes: Vibram KSO

Running tempo 4:36 [3] 1.0 mi (4:36 / mi)
shoes: Vibram KSO

After we did our warmup, stretch and strength we did a workout. It was really easy, just four 400s at about 75% with 4 minutes of rest in between each one where we walked and jogged around.

Coach told us that as the season moves on we are going to decrease the time of rest, but I think we should also increase the number of 400s to six or eight.

Running warm up/down 14:30 [3] 1.6 mi (9:04 / mi)
shoes: Vibram KSO

Running warm up/down 9:00 [3] 0.8 mi (11:15 / mi)
shoes: Vibram KSO

Running 4:50 [3] 1.0 mi (4:50 / mi)
shoes: Vibram KSO

Our coach wanted us to do the time trial yesterday but we didnt because the track was flooded. It still is a big puddle but he wanted us to get in the time trial before its too close to our meet saturday, so we did it today in the rain. I forgot my flats at the school so I had to do it in my KSOs. It went well, only 9 seconds slower than my PR.

Running warm up/down 5:16 [3] 0.5 mi (10:32 / mi)

Swimming 1:30:00 [1]

Lost count on the yardage while we were doing a bunch of drills, but I would guess that we did somewhere around 2500 yards.
