Feel in pieces after yesterdays run :(

Didn't feel like a great run, but I did enjoy it :) Ran okay on most controls and even managed to spike a few. Annoyingly was with another person on my course for a few controls but she retired halfway (after I led her astray!).


Happy I didn't get as lost as some people. Definitely need to work on fitness.

Generally quite a good race for me. Arrived quite late so didn't really warm up, but just sort of went slowly at the start. Lost a few mins in the town with some route choices - I tend to go for the more obvious but longer 'safe' routes.

Otherwise, from about c14 onwards I really struggled with the hills - lots of coughing, plus, I have to admit it, I'm just not really that fit at the moment.

Another excuse could be the two 1 inch blisters on the arch of each foot... one's completely raw, the other didn't quite burst. Tomorrows run suddenly isn't looking so fun!! :S
