Running 10:17 [3] 1.25 mi (8:14 / mi)
shoes: 1223 (Red and Blue)

Took it easy over to the outdoor track then did a few laps to complete my time. Legs didn't feel great.

Running 4:53 [3] 1.0 mi (4:53 / mi)

Splits that coach recorded were 72, 74, 75, 72 which I would say is pretty even for a time trial. It's also a pr by 3 seconds which is always nice to have when you get them. Took awhile to warm up but got better towards the end of the run for sure. Kramer was 4:21, Scott was 4:44, me in 4:53, Seth and Taylor both at 4:55 is what I got remembered right now.

Running 16:10 [3] 2.25 mi (7:11 / mi)
shoes: 1223 (Red and Blue)

Easy run back to campus then some to get the time wanted.

Running 29:05 [3] 4.0 mi (7:16 / mi)
shoes: 1223 (Red and Blue)

Ran easy over at Hartley with the team. Legs were a little sore, but just one very short run will be good for the 1 mile time trial tomorrow. Tomorrow's goal is anywhere between 4:40-4:50. Hopefully all goes well!!!

Running 1:27:30 [3] 12.5 mi (7:00 / mi)
shoes: NB 903

Ran the Bong Bridge up to Enger Tower run with the team and to tell you the truth it was very tough. I don't remember 40th hurting so much before it's probably due to running sub 6's on the Bong Bridge. Seth and Taylor were in front of me up until 40th and I caught them then we all rejoined before the skyline intersection of 53 then that is where I pulled away on the last hill on Skyline before Enger. I was the first person on the team to make it and I was pretty stoked! It was defenitely a good hurt. Ran with Taylor and Ed all the way back to where we started for some extra time. For lunch I ate an italian sausage at Ed's house then went to Culvers with 4 people and got a double deluxe burger sooo good.

Running 29:51 [3] 4.5 mi (6:38 / mi)

Did about a 10 min w/u then preceeded to do 5x400m hill repeats over at the Superior cemetary. The whole team went by feel and some jogged some till repeats, etc... They felt alright, though pretty hard for the first real workout of the summer then that was followed by 6x200m on the grass. Those felt great and my leg turnover is defenitely improved. There really wasn't enough time before we had to head back to campus to cool down because of abs so another longer run tonight for some good recovery.

Running 1:01:45 [3] 8.5 mi (7:16 / mi)
shoes: 1223 (Yellow)

Ran by myself out and back on the trail next to the railroad tracks. This trail is perfect for an easy run because it's flat and the terrain is light dusty dirt that you almost feel no impact. Legs felt a little sore after today's light workout.

Running 57:48 [3] 8.5 mi (6:48 / mi)
shoes: 1223 (Red and Blue)

Ran with the mens team down at Park Point for the first team practice. Got down to the pier via the beach which was fun but really tough. Never thought running on sand would be that tough! After that it was all fun and games when me and Seth ran the last half mile at race pace or faster. He tried to pull away though I just sat in back till I caught up to him again. Finally it was all games with the team then we got back to the campus and did strengthing with a side of a ab workout. I'm a little sore right now but my body will get used to it soon.

Running 30:00 [3] 4.0 mi (7:30 / mi)
shoes: NB 903

Easy run around the streets on campus. Legs feel great.

Running 2:00:00 [3] 17.0 mi (7:04 / mi)
shoes: NB 903

Ran with Jeremy and Scott from Jeremy's house around the West Duluth area and my legs felt wonderful after yesterday's off day. Only getting around 75 miles then bumping it up 10 miles each year. I realized I want something to go for in my years to come and I don't want to be running higher mileage already. Anyways the last 30 minutes is when I felt the best I felt like I could have have a pr in an 8k at that point which is always a good sign on a long run.
