dident run on the knee today so did some circuits at home instead. mainly worked on the leg strengthening ones

had a crap day and to top it off i bashed my knee on the way home from uni so couldent do intervals. charlie was v nice and sorted it out for me,

nice run to work. thought it would be longer but underestimated the distance i had planned. ment i got to do 10 mins stretches before work too though. felt ok during the run but dident push it as i needed a steady run.

chilled out swim in lifeguard training. did some towing and the timed swims which i was well under by 20secs

Running hills (pramids) 33:00 [3]

13mins prymid session. was a good session. 15s 30s 45s 1m 1m30s and back down. did it twice with a 2min rest between sets. had to wait for cars at the bottom of the hill sometimes.

messed up with the timings so the last min was 10s over and then on i added 5s to the last 3 reps.

had 10mins cool down jog and stretch off too

good session, felt much better than the previous weeks, still need to push harder as i slacked in one or two. and a little jog home. was going to do some hill reps but wimped out as it was freezing

give or take 4miles, up to crookes from work then straight down school rd to the bottom of upperthorpe then up crookesmoor rd for an extra hill. then back to mine

Running (hathersage to hope) 1:40:00 [3] 8.4 mi (11:54 / mi) +550m 9:54 / mi

was going to run from hope to edale but got off the train in the wrong place so hathersage to hope. was going to go to edale but was pushing it for time as we had to get back. was a nice run in the snow.

about 45 mins to get there and back with the warm up.
15/20mins hare and hound session, 10 times with 20 secs rest, then a quick relay round the snow balls

was ok, felt very slow in the snow and had no power in my legs to push through, expected though from not doing hard training for a bit.

no circuits so couldent do anything as i was busy for the rest of the day and had too much stuff on me to go for a run. had a nice walk in the snow though

good loop, felt fast but dident push too hard up the hill from hillsborough to crooks.
