Bloody hell but doing proper training sessions is hard.

This was meant to be 10 miles with last 4 at 5k pace + 30-40 seconds ( so aiming for 7.40/mile ish)
I went round the lake (anticlockwise), so cut it down to 9 miles.
5 miles happened just before the duckboards, so paused my watch as you can't easily run fast along there.

"Fast" miles were 8:04, 7:45, 7:57, 8:36 (legs completely died on the last one, was having to do laps of the woods by the theatre to make up the distance).

The first five miles of the session - "easy". Stellar day again, definitely feeling springlike. Seen first wild daffodils. Only problem with the weather (apart from the sweat) is that it brings the tourists out in droves, making the lake a bit busy for this sort of run really
