Got up a bit late, so had to peg it (pegal it?) up Whinlatter to get to Parkrun on time

Whinlatter Parkrun. Only got there a couple of minutes before the briefing so didn't have time to get changed properly, just pull my long tights off and take my baselayer off, so had to run in my bike shorts, which wasn't the most comfortable thing. Legs a bit tired (for obvious uphill cycling reasons), faster than last time I did Whinlatter though.

Had a cuppa and a teacake and a nice catchup with Kerry and Lou in the cafe after.

Down Whinlatter to Lorton, round to Buttermere, crawled (with lots of zigzagging) up Newlands pass, wussed down it with the brakes on (was quite wet and greasy), then home via Portinscale. According to garmin I was mostly in "zone 2", certainly felt a lot harder than that! Tired legs
