Should really have recorded this but nevermind. Biking with Adam out to and up the path up Stonycroft gill, then a dog leg up the really steep bit that Adam forgot to mention as the "quick" way up to the top of Barrow. Adam is strong enough to chuck his bike on his back - I am not so had to play hike a bike up the super steep little track! However, only a couple of little knee twinges, so that was super positive! And then an awesome descent off the side of Barrow (would be more awesome if I had done any kind of technical mountain biking in the last few years!), then pedal home from Braithwaite. Felt like proper exercise which was great!

No noticeably negative effects on knee from last night's walk, so biked out to the Swinside via Braithwaite and back through Portinscale after work. Legs generally a bit tired but no knee issues :)

Drove to Gale Road carpark (first time ever?) and walked to the top of Latrigg and back from there in the pouring rain. Knee a little wobbly on the steepest bit of downhill, which was only a couple of steps, but felt fine apart from that. Progress

So tired of not running! But having to be patient, especially since I will soon be starting a job where my main job is to hike all day! Managed to go climbing last night, but stuck to fairly easy grades and avoided twisty moves on my left knee.


Walked the medium lake loop (3.8 miles including the loop through town) with little to no knee issues. Yay! Progress! Still sticking to the flat for now though
