Fairly gentle yomp up Blencathra from Scales with Tom. Icy paths low down, much preferred the snow higher up. Trialling wearing two pairs of socks - thin injinjis and my Sealskinz - to try and combat the foot circulation problems I seem to be having. They've now led to having two oddly swollen toes - only painful if I poke them, so I'm just not poking them. Anyway, the two socks thing seems to work for warmth, but means I have to lace my shoes really loosely to fit my fat feet into them. Ah well.

Bloody lovely day to be messing about in the Lake District hills. I would've taken pictures but I discovered that fatal flaw of iphones, they shut down when they get cold. Great emergency tool for the UK, not :/

Yog back to Rawnsley centre to pick up jacket, then home

Intervals intervals 25:00 [4] 3.71 mi (6:44 / mi) +26m 6:36 / mi

5 sets of 5mins on, 90 secs off, from the Rawnsley Centre round to Spooney Green. Got to roughly the same point each time except the last when I was a little short, but that was more because I got stuck behind the good people having a yog

To the pavilion then round to the Rawnsley Centre
