Back from Borrowdale with fluceluce, overtaking all the cars stuck in the queue, ha.

A hot, muggy and sweaty Borrowdale. Fairly slow, but a lot of people (including Licky Rightfoot) were a fair bit slower than normal - winning time was over 3 hours. Generally felt pretty strong, especially uphill - walking uphill rather well, especially compared to people around me. Had a fall on the Corridor route, which lost me a few minutes and left me with bruised knees and a scraped shoulder, and the scree run off Scafell Pike was busy so wasn't able to run that how I would like. Was running well off Dale Head then got a massive stitch right at the bottom that was so painful I couldn't run - not had something like that happen for ages. Had to walk parts of the track until it subsided, which was irritating as I lost all the places I'd gained on the descent.

Got to eat a pastry the size of my face at the end, delicious
