Finally stopped raining, so headed out on the road bike. Feet got cold (as per) so kept it reasonably short, managed to layer up appropriately on all other parts though (feet are just rubbish). Knew those windproof tights would come in handy one day!

Braithwaite, Stair, back past the Swinside and through Portinscale. Legs feeling ok, but in to see Jo tomorrow to get hip pummelled.

Short lake loop. Hip started off ok but got worse as the run (loose term) went on - right leg felt very tired, like it was working a lot harder than the left. Left heel also niggling. Gave it up as a bad job and went home. Did a fair bit of stretching, and text Jo for fixing time

Damp pedal down the valley to spectate the King of the Castle race. Moved bike seat forward a bit, seems to help a bit. Hip still a little stiff

Wetter pedal back up the valley to K-town

Causey Pike, Sail, round the side of Eel crag, the thoroughly boring and not at all fun descent route, back up to Sail pass and back down the path to the car. Right hip and lower back quite tight and stiff going uphill, especially later on - need to keep an eye on that. Will give it some stretching and rolling, then maybe book in to see Jo to get it sorted if it doesn't clear up in the next few days.

Road bike ride round the back of the lake, then down Borrowdale to Seatoller and back. Lovely morning for it

Morning swim wearing all the new warm stuff. Kept it short as feet still got very cold, but less cold than they do without the swim socks, so that's a plus. Will aim to build up tolerance slowly. Feet warmed up a lot faster than normal once out, so presumably hadn't got as cold, which is a plus.

Yoga 45:00 [1]

Since my swim was rather short, did a long yoga session (Total body yoga - deep stretch) to compensate. Hips tight
