Longest ride to date! Woke up thinking we were gonna do the 30 mile back of Skiddaw loop (with obligatory stop at Mae's tearoom). Got to Mae's, then got convinced to take the route to Castle Inn, then Lorton, then Whinlatter (with emergency cake carried from Mae's), then "might as well just add on a loop around the lake to take it up to 50 miles". Stoked to get round! Now rather tired....

"Gentle" start to adventure reps for the year, i.e. shortish session (reps were not gentle). 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 seconds max effort with equal rest, 5 minutes rest, repeat. Max effort was tricky given how slippy the hill was with recent weather, and occasionally getting blown sideways.
