Pool swimming again since I was in Carlisle. 500m breaststroke warm up, 1100m front crawl (with a couple of little breaks). Find it difficult not to stop when I turn round in a pool, so the big endurance test will be when its warm enough to attempt this sort of distance in the lake! Time is ish as I paused my watch and forgot to restart it, so missed 100m out of the recording.
Everyone always bangs on about how good swimming is for burning calories, but according to my watch I burned <200 in an hour? (Despite the fact I was knackered and starving afterwards). I'm not particularly fussed (I don't do this to lose weight), but suggests either the commonly held belief or my watch is very wrong.

Was really sleepy tired when I got home, so thought a run would either wake me up, or justify me dozing on the sofa for the rest of the night. Potter up Latrigg with TP. Blowing a hoolie on top, so not the most pleasant run ever.
