Running 2:15:08 [3] 10.34 mi (13:04 / mi) +265m 12:06 / mi
ahr:138 max:165 shoes: Roclites (pink)

Buttermere 10 route with Partytown. Pretty windy but mostly able to keep moving except for the gusts. Rather wet, was drenched by the end. Not as bad as expected

Friday Feb 14 #

Swimming 7:00 [2]

It was bloody freezing and I forgot my tow float, so these things combined meant I didn't stay in long at all. Out from the bay, round the 2 buoys and back.

Thursday Feb 13 #

Running 9:07 [2] 0.45 mi (20:16 / mi) +17m 18:08 / mi
shoes: Walshes 3rd pair

Token warm up

Running 30:00 [4] 1.4 mi (21:26 / mi) +273m 13:21 / mi
ahr:139 max:177 shoes: Walshes 3rd pair

15x (1 min on, 1 min off) on Grisedale Pike with Partytown. Reached the snowline! (Sort of, enough for a teeny snowball). Quite slippy which affected the uphilling at times

Running 13:30 [2] 1.4 mi (9:39 / mi) +8m 9:28 / mi
shoes: Walshes 3rd pair

Jog back down to the car

Wednesday Feb 12 #

Running 55:08 [3] 4.89 mi (11:16 / mi) +322m 9:22 / mi
shoes: More Miles (Purple)

Yomp up Latrigg with Rhesus. Blowing a hoolie. Saw Brennan doing an inov-8 photoshoot on the summit - cold day for it. Took a convoluted route down so as not to disturb the birds that Rhys saw and wanted to come back and ID (turned out to be crossbills)

Tuesday Feb 11 #

Running 49:28 [4] 3.27 mi (15:08 / mi) +374m 11:10 / mi
ahr:151 max:173 shoes: More Miles (Purple)

Stile End and Barrow in high winds with TP. Had a frustrating day at work so sacked off club training - oops. As compensation, wore HRM and tried to keep HR high uphill. Ran most of the way up Stile End, which I was pleased with.

Monday Feb 10 #

Yoga 1:00:00 [0]

A long "full body yoga" session at home - didn't really want to go out under any trees in the high wind, which limited my options to road running (no).

Sunday Feb 9 #

Running 1:16:26 [3] 5.5 mi (13:54 / mi) +304m 11:52 / mi
shoes: Kanadia TR7 2

Convoluted route trying to find somewhere that wasn't so flooded that my feet would freeze, but also not so high up as to get blown over. Turns out these two things are contradictory around here at the moment, so ended up heading up Walla. Wasn't too bad except on the actual summit, so didn't hang around. As I had been expecting a lakeshore run, I was wearing battered trail shoes, so minced about on the descent trying not to fall over. With TP, and Rhesus for a bit of it.
