Over Whinlatter to Lorton. Intended to go down Buttermere and back over Newlands, but spent a bit too long having a socially-distanced chat with Joanna and Chris, so came back the same way over Whinlatter.

Legs definitely feeling a bit stronger on the ups - not finding the steep bits easy by any means, but maybe a little bit less hard

Latrigg via start of race route and tunnel with TP. Stopped for a chat with Byron and Alex. Really bloody cold and windy on top, and I fell over and cut/bashed my knee and hand, boo hoo.

Note

Planned a rest day today after a biggish week. Not focussing well on work so went for a nice longish walk with TP in the afternoon. Legs feeling surprisingly fine (though the walk was very flat)

Bloody cold wind today. Trot up Latrigg to make up the numbers for the week, but couldn't bear to be out in the open for too long because it was bloody freezing, so did a bit of looping around town on the way back to make it up to the required distance.

50.1miles, 10,360 ft week (and a swim). Been a while since I did a week this big!
