Running 48:19 [1] 4.0 mi (12:05 / mi) +94m 11:15 / mi
shoes: Kanadia TR7 2

Trot around the Bristol Downs with Ingrid and TP in the rain. Some nice views out over the river and towards the bridge, and some unexpected nice quiet wooded spots

Friday Oct 2 #

Running 1:00:30 [2] 5.45 mi (11:06 / mi) +142m 10:16 / mi
shoes: Kanadia TR7 2

No RULERs running today, so took Tom on a meandering tour of Marquis Drive, featuring Kitbag hill and "the fishing ponds" that are down in Birches Valley. A few stops to try and remember where we were, but generally pretty steady.

Running 1:09:05 [2] 5.22 mi (13:14 / mi) +294m 11:16 / mi
shoes: Walshes 3rd pair

Easy round the lakeshore then Walla by Cat ghyll. Nice out, legs a little tired

Wednesday Sep 30 #

Running 1:12:49 [2] 6.69 mi (10:53 / mi) +320m 9:29 / mi
shoes: Kanadia TR7 2

Latrigg via the zigzags and down off the back with Zoe. Good chat, got rudely interrupted by some hoodlums in the felled area (Rhesus/Partytown/MickyB)

Yoga 8:00 [0]

"Yoga to get the juices flowing". Mmmm juice

Note

Dan & Jane came round in the evening, so pizza by the lakeshore :)

Yoga 20:00 [0]

Yoga for psoas mid-morning, hips feeling a bit tight after yesterday

Running 1:01:45 [2] 4.31 mi (14:20 / mi) +290m 11:51 / mi
ahr:119 max:142 shoes: Kanadia TR7 2

Gentle shuffle up Latrigg via the tunnel and down the ramp. A little aware of hip. New sports bra not compressy enough for downhill running, which of course you can only figure out by wearing it to run. Sigh. If brands could just stop discontinuing things, that would be great

Sunday Sep 27 #

Running 2:23:37 [3] 8.27 mi (17:22 / mi) +989m 12:40 / mi
shoes: Walshes 3rd pair

Pedal out to Braithwaite and a lap of the Coledale Horseshoe with TP. Focussed hard on running all of Grizedale Pike (apart from a couple of steps where I had to scramble up a rocky bit due to dithering walkers coming down), which I was pretty chuffed with - 54:09 church to summit. Slacked off after that as Tom had done a big hard run yesterday so was quite tired. Chips in the Coledale after :) Lovely afternoon out

Yoga 10:00 [0]

Dancing warriors to stretch out the legs a bit
