Saturday Oct 10 #

Running 2:27:37 [2] 9.03 mi (16:21 / mi) +639m 13:24 / mi
shoes: Walsh 4th pair

Loughrigg and Silver Howe from Ambleside with TP. Hip etc. tightening badly, tried to run it off but by the 2nd climb of Loughrigg right hamstring and calf had tightened right up, so was a bit stroppy. Also F*ck the fells have mullered the path off the back of Latrigg towards Red Bank, so it's now slippy manky death path (it's not actually finished yet, so maybe it will be less muddy when it is?!).

Yoga 20:00 [0]

As much of the psoas yoga session as I could remember without watching the video (whilst watching other stuff on youtube). Plus some foam rolling etc

Yoga 5:00 [0]

Token effort

Running 57:29 [2] 4.37 mi (13:09 / mi) +295m 10:52 / mi
shoes: Walshes 3rd pair

Plod up and down Latrigg with TP on some exploratory trods. Bit slippy uphill for my liking

Thursday Oct 8 #

Running 1:19:34 [2] 7.1 mi (11:12 / mi) +380m 9:37 / mi
ahr:142 max:168 shoes: Walshes 3rd pair

Evening yomp on Latrigg with Sheelagh. Up by the zigzags, off the back down the ridge, then turned right and went along the path and back to Spooney green. Did a lap of the block when I got home to make it up to 7 miles

Wednesday Oct 7 #

Yoga 20:00 [0]

Always comes back to the psoas yoga

Note

Lower back still a bit tight and twingey, so walked out to the Swinside and back in the PM instead of running

Tuesday Oct 6 #

Yoga 45:00 [0]

After last night's yoga felt so good, committed to getting up early and doing a "Total body yoga deep stretch" session. Good, but revealed a lot of non flexiness

Running 1:02:58 [2] 4.87 mi (12:56 / mi) +174m 11:38 / mi
shoes: Kanadia TR7 2

Lakeshore and Great Wood, with TP to the bottom of Cat Ghyll. Had intended to go up Walla but RHS lower back was twinging and I felt generally a bit rubbish, so opted for an easier run back

Monday Oct 5 #

Running 55:57 [2] 5.08 mi (11:01 / mi) +121m 10:15 / mi
shoes: Kanadia TR7 2

From Dad's, over the back and through the woods to the woods on the back of Shoal Hill, lap of the woods then back under the colliery hill. Stomach not great, probably a bit soon after eating. Kept it slow
