Slightly convoluted Ennerdale recce due to my reluctance to drive anywhere on the bank holiday and the bus breaking down at the top of Honister. Honister to Blackbeck tarn, Green Gable, Kirk Fell, Black Sail hut, Scarth Gap, out and back up and down High Pike then back to Buttermere in time to get a cake and drink before the bus home. Hot but a nice breeze high up. Avec TP. A nice long day out
