Sarens Edenvale Marathon. Plan was to split halfway at 1h40m to give myself a decent shot at 3h20m. Felt great early on though and started a touch too fast :-/ Managed to hold the 4:30s until about the 30km mark when the wheels most certainly came off! Put in a few walk breaks after that (mainly at watertables) and dragged my sorry arse home. Still happy with the time (my 2nd fastest out of 7 road marathons to date).

67th place out of 1115 timed runners.
