Climbing 30:00 [4] +50m

Last short session with Fran, Jo & Alex at Disciple Wall and God No Wall. Easy warm-up on Lucy (17) for me and then tried Leg-O (23) - very exposed traversing line above a big overhang. I came off on the crux roof move and had an upside down fall (in solidarity with my regular climbing partner of course). Was too scared to give it everything on my 2nd try and ended up bailing using a set of chains of a different route to the left.

17,(23x).

Climbing 1:00:00 [4] +90m

Disciple Wall with Jo. Tried the cruxy 22 again, but came off one move from the jug over the rooflet. Also Brolloks and a new 20 at the God No Wall. Feeling pretty worn out today..

18,(22),19,20.

Climbing 30:00 [4] +50m

Afternoon session with Jo. Warmed-up at Hallucinogen and then managed to onsight a hard, crimpy 23 called Cactus Palace at the RĂ©union Wall. Some sustained tough-to-read sequences and nearly peeled off a few times. Glad I managed to hold on!

17,20,23.

Climbing 20:00 [4] +25m

Climbing with Fran, Jo & Alex at Hallucinogen. Warmed-up on Angel of Mercy (16) and then topped Sloppy Seconds (22) with one fall - tricky weight-shifting moves! Then it stormed hard... campsite flooding, lightning everywhere, waterfalls coming down the crags - pretty epic!

Climbing 20:00 [4] +25m

Went to Rainy Day crag with Jo in the afternoon and had my first try on Freak On (24) after getting some good beta watching others climb it. Made it 2/3rds of the way up and was too pumped to get my feet up for the knee bar. Climbed to the top with a few rests after that - the top moves would be very pumpy and tough from the ground! Brilliant climbing though :)
