Climbing 30:00 [4] +30m

Last day so we had a really fun session by abseiling down Lotter's Desire (27 - Boven's most famous mega-classic route) and then tried it on top rope :) I was able to do big links on it, falling just once before the top crux. The top crux is super-powerful and I couldn't quite stick one of the moves. Managed to climb to the top from there. Such fun sustained lock-off sequences! So glad I got to climb on it :) I feel like it may be within projecting reach but would be very scary on lead, with the 5m run-outs!

Waterfall crag!! Warmed-up on a beautiful 20 and then tackled one of my main goals of the trip - Superfly, a five star 35m 23. There were a few fairly bouldery cruxes and run outs of note but I kept it together for the onsight :) Superb route and a mega-journey!

Climbing 30:00 [4] +60m

Back on the project this morning... Fell on the last move *again* but thankfully managed to get it on my 2nd go :) Hardest route I've ever done!

Afternoon session at the Left Wing. Went surprisingly well given the morning's activities! The 19 (Lo & Behold) is one of the better ones in Boven. Super-fun! And then got the flash of the steep face 23 (Chacma). Pumpy, but positive rail-to-rail climbing :) Need to take it easy tomorrow..

Climbing 30:00 [4] +50m

Morning session on the project with Justin. Surprised myself by making it all the way up to the last move on my first go, but was too pumped to latch the jug next to the chains. Took a nice big fall there :) I only have one proper send go per day in me, so just sussed out the sequence a bit better on the lower half. Hopefully I'll climb it more efficiently now and have some gas left for the last move next time!
