Climbing 1:00:00 [4] +90m

My best day of climbing yet - must be getting more used to the style. Sent the 22 on warm-up, all but onsighted the 24 after a little slip on the first move, flashed a hard 23 with excellent beta from Julia, and then completely broke myself on a 26/27 back clean - another journey of a route, complete with dyno and several knee bars. Consistently steep for 35m! Again something I'll have to get stronger for before a lead attempt!

Climbing 45:00 [4] +50m

Sent the 23 this time and then tried Paws (26) as a back clean. Such a monster journey of a route - incredible and fun moves, but would have to raise my head game to get on this on lead.

Morning hike with Fran up the ridge into the Swartberg mountains. Beautiful views, but got pretty hot by 10am!

Climbing 30:00 [4] +40m

Fell on my warm-up burn on the 23 at a tricky technical section and then tried Bigfoot (26). Managed to get most of the way up with some rests at bolts, but the top crux had me stumped - felt really thuggish and powerful.

Climbing 30:00 [4] +30m

At Oudtshoorn for the long weekend with Fran, Justin & Lauren - first time climbing on limestone. Such a fun, athletic style. Super-pumpy and no crimps in sight! Dorked the 22 by faffing around too much and getting pumped, but managed to fight hard for my first ever onsight on the 24! :)
