orienteering race 1:01:00 [4] 5.9 km (10:20 / km) +180m 8:58 / km

street and park race at holmfirth. lovely day and great views. one shocking error early on; apart from that orienteered well, and better than one or two fast runners I was with some of the time.

Just realised June was the lowest month ever for intensity, and probably the lowest month overall when I didn't have injury or illness to blame.

Cliffhanger ultrasprint. race 1; one real bad route error

orienteering race 13:28 [5] 1.97 km (6:50 / km)

race 2. nightmare. mistook 7 for 1 for my first control. corrected. went to 5 instead of 4 (the number 4 was closer to the fifth control on the map) then 6 instead of 5. Corrected: found 4 and repeated 5 and 6. then missed out 7. Not corrected.

race 3. ok

orienteering 24:37 [5] 3.65 km (6:45 / km)

the final. made another error in the labyrinth. seemed very long for an ultrasprint!

with HH ladies, barely above walking pace. time and distance are a guess

A low effort pre-work jog around endcliffe village
6 PM

running 6:30 [1] 1.2 km (5:25 / km)

jog down to endcliffe park, too soon after eating :(

orienteering race 30:31 [4] 4.31 km (7:05 / km)

park race round endcliffe park with ultra sprint bits at beginning and end; might have been tricky if i had been able to run fast enough to make it so.

running 23:37 [3] 3.89 km (6:04 / km)

jog home, plus a bit more, as I had no door key :(

to the mile-ish marker and back. not a bad time/effort ratio.
