Friday May 13

yoga-pilates 45:00 [1]
Rhonda's morning class. She is still on medical leave, so I'm still in charge

Wednesday May 11

yoga-pilates 45:00 [1]
Still leading Rhonda's morning class while she is on the mend.
cycling 2:08:54 [2]32.19 mi (3:59 / mi)
From Pleasant Valley up E River Rd to Sandy Brook to Rte 183 to S Sandisfield Rd and back. Longest ride so far this year, and probably a bit too long for my strength level right now. Nice to be downhill on the way back. 1:14 out and :54 back.

Tuesday May 10

cycling 52:42 [3]11.9 mi (4:25 / mi)
Down Wright, up Case St to Edgerton to 219 back up Devil's Elbow.

Update on Rhonda. Diagnosis is sprained MCL, should recover with time and therapy. Apparently nothing torn or broken. Hurray!

Monday May 9

yoga-pilates 40:00 [1]
Rhonda's morning class. As she is incapacitated, I was in charge. Kind of fun. I go through the exercises a little faster than she does, so I was done a bit early.
Running 45:25 [4]5.7 mi (7:57 / mi)
Pleasant Valley N along E River Rd and back. Whoo that was hard. I thought I was going to be lively, but soon found out different. What's the matter? Maybe it was those 5 cups of coffee this morning. What was I thinking? Maybe it's the prednisone I'm taking this week for the neck injury (neck feels better, and certainly not sneezing any). Maybe I'm just slow because I've been goofing off all week. Anyway, it was the first time I was slower coming back than going out: 22:03 out and 23:22 back.
weights 10:00 [1]
Just some bench presses and pull downs before evening yoga class
yoga-pilates 1:00:00 [2]
Rhonda's class, but I'm the leader as Rhonda is inside icing her knee. Got moving pretty good, worked up a sweat and feel pretty mellow now.

Sunday May 8

Hike 50:00 [1]2.5 mi (20:00 / mi)
Rhonda and I out for what was supposed to be a 3 hour hike around Ratlum Mtn. Bad news! A woman approached with a bull mastiff that bounded over and took Rhonda out at the knee. The woman collected her dog and skedaddled before I could even see if Rhonda could get up. Luckily not far from the road. Helped R out to the road, then ran back for the car. Dr's appt Tuesday -more news to follow. For the meanwhile, the knee is not bending and is being plied with plenty of ice.
trail run 30:00 [2]2.5 mi (11:59 / mi)
Hustling back to the house to get the car to pick up Rhonda (see earlier entry)
