| WP Day 2 Green course. Had some big problems finding #8 and #13, so kind of frustrating. Otherwise ok. Physically, had a hard time going uphill through blueberries. Need to get stronger. | ||

| Golf with Tom and Katie Noonan at Simsbury Farms. Usual mixture of exhilaration and frustration (kind of like orienteering), but notable for a first. First time reaching a par 5 in 2 (Simsbury Farms #14). Then eagle putt hit back of hole and popped up in the air, settling on the lip, so the first eagle will have to wait, perhaps a really long time. | ||

| West Pt Green X day 1. Really fine course with interesting route choice problems, executed rather poorly by me! Particularly blew the route choice on 2-3 and 9-10, costing time and effort. Generally ok finding the controls once I got there, though. | ||

| Sprint at W.P. A couple of clunkers, including leaving in wrong direction from #1 and not seeing #15 on the map and having to backtrack. Otherwise ok. That's just as fast as I go.
Exhausted afterwards, and took a nap at the hotel before dinner. | ||
