Saturday Feb 3

cycling 28:00 [3]
weight:175lbs
on the stationary bike with the paper, after the inaugural plowing of the season. We got about 3", I'd say. Borderline for plowing, but it's good to keep in practice.

A new and unfortunate milestone in my asymptotic travel away from the g.
Rowing Machine 21:44 [3] 5 km (4:21 / km)
Hike 2:00:00 [3] 5.3 mi (22:38 / mi)
Firehouse-Farm loop with Hazel. 3" of snow. First real hiking since I hurt my hamstring last weekend and it did not go very well. Twinges on the way down, and then real discomfort on the way back up.

Friday Feb 2

cycling 30:00 [3]
on the exercise bike at the hotel

Thursday Feb 1

cycling 30:00 [3]
at the hotel in the evening in Providence, with the NY times. I used to like to run from this hotel in the evening, but not feasible with the condition of my hamstring.

Wednesday Jan 31

cycling 40:00 [3]
And reading the paper. A pretty gentle hamstring activity.
Rowing Machine 20:29 [3] 5 km (4:06 / km)
(injured)
Pretty good pace, and felt good on all my various injured parts.

Tuesday Jan 30

Note
(injured)
Up in Boston for a meeting, and found a side risk to my recent hamstring injury. Hurrying across a street when a car is bearing down is pretty painful, so I now have to wait for lights!

Monday Jan 29

Rowing Machine 21:26 [3] 5 km (4:17 / km)
weight:173lbs
Pretty gentle on left hamstring, which is sore enough to make walking difficult. Also fine on the lower back, but nagging on R knee. Too many ailments

Sunday Jan 28

Event: WCOC Meet and Winter Meeting

Orienteering 1:00:00 [3] 4.8 km (12:30 / km)
WCOC Bennett Farm sprints A & B. A went ok, although tweaked a hamstring around #4. Got steadily more painful, and had to limp in after #7 on B - therefore didn't go out on C. Only real mistake was #5 on B, where I thought I was too close to the lake and convinced myself I was at a different wall, so lost a minute or two. Just slower and slower as the hamstring complained. About 25 minutes on A and 35 on B, but don't have the splits to confirm.
C • splits 6
