First outdoor ride of the season, and quite fine. Up Sandy Brook Road until my companions - Rhonda and Zack - complained. Probably just as well. I had a lot of leg cramps in the evening. Generally successful, though, and the leg felt good.

Note

Golfing outing notable not for my play (9 for 9 from the tee, but otherwise pretty weak) but for one of my companions - the long lost Zack, who hasn't played since he was 8 or 9. Seemed like he generally had a pretty good time, and perhaps may play again.

Golf with the Thursday night group at Rockledge. Did a remarkably dumb thing. The 5th has an elevated tee with a wall about 2' high at the edge. Went up on the tee to look at the situation and pick a club, and then turned to step off the wall, as would be customary, to get my club. About a third of the way into it I realized in dismay that I was stepping down onto my right (recently repaired) leg, and tried to hop and switch. It didn't work out well and I ended up landing full force on the leg I was trying to protect. Definitely slowed me down from there, and my game ended up in disarray.

Rhonda's 6am cardio circuit class. Mostly on the bike, because of logistics. Getting better.
