6 AM

Gym 1:00:00 [1]
slept:4.5 weight:166.8lbs

In the gym with Eric. Usual stuff. Generally felt pretty good, less tight than usual in the back, although my quads are pretty knotted. Deadlifts, goblet squats, pull downs, stretching and core.
7 AM

Note

Then Zack put me to work feeding the chipper, cleaning up the downed trees around the middle and back fields, spreading the chips on the trail. I ended up pretty darned sore and tired. He is a tough taskmaster. I took a break for a while around 11, went back out from maybe 1 to 2:30, and then that was all I could take.

cycling (spinning) 50:00 [3]
slept:8.0 weight:167lbs

Spinning class at the Y with Rhonda's preferred instructor, Caitlin. The volume of the "music" is something of an issue for me, although I understand that the devotees really like it that way. We also got to hear about Caitlin's Thanksgiving dinner, which gave me something to be thankful about. She made an apple pie, but burnt the crust, and nobody else ate it. She made tofurkey, and nobody else liked that either. Quite a blessing not to have been there.
1 PM

Orienteering 1:35:59 [0] 1.58 mi (1:00:55 / mi) +63m 54:11 / mi

Field checking, and then ran into a neighbor who was tooling around on an ATV, fellow I hadn't met before, but seemed pleasant enough.

walking the dog and a bit of field checking. Unfortunately forgot my pen, so now I have to see how much of what I was marking I can remember,
2 PM

Orienteering 1:36:38 [0] 2.36 mi (40:59 / mi) +161m 33:48 / mi

More field checking, including running into some neighbors at the bridge by the Big Down Marsh and chatting them up for a bit.
