Very humid, super buggy. Just getting out for some gentle walking to get the kink in my back diminished. Including another set of 8 of the partial pull ups, which provide good traction.

In the gym with Eric, stretching, hip mobilization, traction and balance stuff, trying to gentle my hip and back into shape. My objective, whether achievable or not, is to be able to run within about 4 weeks. Clearly a ways to go.

Dog loop with Rhonda, cooler than the last several days, but very humid and FDFs and their friends are out and about. Then a stop to check the mushrooms. Harvested a bowlful yesterday, only one so far this morning. And a stop at the rings for 8 half-pullups, Eric's recommendation for additional back traction. Seems favorable.

Walking a fair amount straighter and easier, but not close to out of the woods with this thing. And mixed in here a set of 8 ring pull-ups ('cause J-J did them) and then another set of 8 partial pull-ups, which are even better traction for the back).

Gentle. Yesterday I was feeling pretty sore and decided to dial things back. This was nice and easy, better in my current state of condition. Much better today than yesterday in terms of overall discomfort level.

Down to the beaver pond with Rhonda, not expecting to see much, but did see one of the little mergansers before he swam behind the reeds, and 3 of the juvenile herons who had been resting in the shade along the water’s edge, but flew away when we approached. Also the solitary green frog again. One call only. It is pretty hot today.
