Odd week with race and thanksgiving. Not much running. Did manage 17:27 5k race and 2 hour long run. Back to miles.

Gobble Gallop. Cold and a touch slippery--dusting of snow in the a.m. Third place overall. Good effort. No beer afterwards, which was disappointing. Won a pie.

Pretty good week considering I was in the cities for three days. Tempo around lake harriet (16:48), and finally hit two hours with the boys. Only ran 5 days though. 49 miles?

Struggled a bit by the end. Need to look up my times from a few years ago when I ran this tempo regularly.

Out Howard Gnesen, hit the backroads, calvalry cemetary, minimum maintenance, hartley, south road...always get hungry by the end. Need to start bringing gels.

Note

Pretty good week. 51 miles. Two mid-long runs and two tempos--one loop of rock hill and one 5k on the track. Need to start hitting two hours on the long run.
