10 miles (1:13:02) then ten at MP: 6:22, 6:10, 6:10, 5:59, 6:11, 5:57, 6:01, 6:09, 6:08, 6:08). Mile cool down. Should have had the marathon today. 48, almost no wind, overcast. Hammies super tight by the end. Good run!

Note

well, took what my body was willing to give me. 62 miles on essentially five runs. One mid-long and one long w10 at pace. Decent week, considering.

running 16:00 [3] 2.0 mi (8:00 / mi)

2 miles, then an overwhelming urge to not be running.

Sunday May 24, 2009 #

Note

41 miles on 4 days running. sucks. 10 miler in 56:42, then two aborted runs, then packed it in for the week. sleeping 12 hours a night, no energy...hit the doc for blood work and all is well, thankfully. Not what I needed four weeks out, but I've got good training in the bank...

Thursday May 21, 2009 #

running 1:07:00 [3] 8.0 mi (8:22 / mi)

two loops of chester, a bit of rock hill. was going to run longer but felt like a big flaming pile of dookie. Did I peak a month ago or what? Should go back to the fast food diet.

Wednesday May 20, 2009 #

running 35:00 [3] 5.0 mi (7:00 / mi)
shoes: Rotterdams

4 x 1k repeats on Jarrow's course. Bad idea. 3:28, 3:18, 3:12, 3:18 w/1:30 rest..tight and terrible...packed it in...should have jogged and giggled.

Tuesday May 19, 2009 #

running (long, MP) 2:15:00 [3] 20.0 mi (6:45 / mi)

20 miles on the course. Ten (1:13:07), then 10 at MP 1:01:53 (6:09, 5:57, 5:58, 6:03, 6:00, 6:16, 6:20, 6:23, 6:24, 6:21). Tried out adidas rotterdams for pace stuff. If I would have been out an hour earlier, I would have avoided the headwind for the last 5...felt knackered but good. no leg pain.

Note

53 miles on 5 runs. leg pain scuttled me for a bit. Two long (15.5 & 20) w/10 @ MP...5k tempo at NMTC. Need to stay healthy and consistent.
