Running hills (Club Hill Champs) 1:10:00 shoes: Brooks Beast 14
Started from the Club Rooms at Hansen Park. Kaia was running/walking with Rosie. A slow jog to Mt Vernon Car Park - a bit more jogging about before the start (and some 5 minutes of Dynamic stretching - see elsewhere). Started out as a little loop around before going onto the MTB track / Farm Track up the Spur of Death all the way to the Summit Road. The young dudes were in front for a little bit but slowly I made my way past and ran the last 2/3rd's alone in front. A hot day on the hill. As it was just less than 20 minutes - I went back down a bit afterwards to get my last good 10 minutes of hill run in to follow my plan. I ran at the back of the hill to keep out of sight of the dudes still competing up the hill. I had forgotten my watch as we were racing out the door last minute. The kids had a shortened course of about 1 km and Kaia did fine even through she was a bit tired from hockey. Yep, a good hard workout.

Added some normal sit-ups, and some anti biking exercises to overcome stiffness that lead to tight ITBs.

The Wednesday Morning Loop (3rd time I have done it). Without Tim W so no exciting social aspect to the training but a beautiful morning all the same.

Morning Run in the dark with a headlamp for a little bit. Just ran slowly up to Vic park and around Bowenvale Valley and home. Feeling okay despite not a good sleep and the training over the last couple of days.

Just a wee jog in the dark - a bit sore after yesterday's 6 hour rogaine with Jenni at the GRAM. Google map measured distance. I'll have a look around to see if I can find a heart rate monitor. Need to add some more data to this trog.
