mt bike 30:00 [3] 10.0 km (3:00 / km)

Meant to go out this morning but hadn't slept too well because of heat, so I stayed in and did overdue home stuff.

Had a bike coaching session in Bonython Park from 5-8pm.
With major rain & lightning forecast for 7pm my boss wasn't keen to go ahead but the council organiser was, so there we were.
Or at least I was - Leanne's car and trailer had broken down just on the turn in on Port Rd, in peak hour traffic. Luckily we always get there early to set up - I decanted some of the necessary stuff while L waited for the RAA who were literally 5 mins. Alternator.

I was working with the adult learner, while L & Ben rode with the riders.
At 6.50pm L pulled the plug on the session, given the leaden skies and nasty radar pics. Got everything back in trailer & I rode the 5kms back to St Peters arriving with the first clap of thunder.

Not so much rain after all (to midnight anyway) and still hot and sticky inside.

Interesting that the national soccer federation, despite making the World Cup (and about to get some $18millon) is in administrative disarray and likely to get overseen by the international body. Given that the national body should be complying with ASC governance guidelines - how has it blatantly not?
