walk 1:40:00 [3]
This was my pathetic attempt to train for Flinders is walks and to sort out footwear. Actually 3 seperate walks near home trying out 3 different lots of shoes.
First walk = blister on L heel within 5 mins.
2nd walk = blister on R bunion in 10 mins
3rd walk = plaster came off heel so drew much blood.
Augurs well for 4-6hr daily walks! Though I don't start until feb 24 so will do more walking whilst over there. (This walking may well send me straight to knee surgeon)
Packing for all sorts of weather - snow included...walk, mtb, bike touring, maybe kayak, camping, mtbo camp & then mtbo races...
Late decison making involved on trip isnt a sensible thing....
Still havent sorted out my gps probs...
