Ride with MS & David C, so they could get used to their mt bikes for Sunday.
Met at Cobbler Creek mtb park and rode all the lower tracks initially. Then over to Carisbrooke Pk and along the Little Para river all the way to the wetlands, salt lakes & onto the Watermark cafe. Then over to Mawson lakes and did a small lap there before using the bike track behind Parafield airport and various rds back to Cobbler Creek.
warm day for a change.

Ride in cleland and over to Yarrawee and back

Road Cycling 4:00:00 [3] 71.0 km (3:23 / km) +846m 3:11 / km

Bal group ride minus the group.
Long ride was too hilly for me so I did an adaptation mostly on my lonesome.
I had inadvertently taken my wrong bike shoe, so had to ride with both feet in sandshoes, but with one only having a small cleat. So had to stop occasionally to rest / wriggle my R foot.
Bal - Hahndorf - Paechtown rd - Mylor - up & down Aldgate Valley rd - Echunga - Naire - Woodside - Bal.
Got attacked by magpie in Maparinga rd, Woodside.
Knee swelled up afterwards.

walk 1:45:00 [3]

Late afternoon walk at Morialta.
Managed to park right at the walk starts.
Up to bottom of 1st falls and then back up to giants cave and around to above 2nd falls. Meant to cross over there but it was raining and the rocks were slippery so I just headed back the same way.
Used my walking sticks which helped a lot so knee was ok.
Bit sad to think that i used to do running hill intervals here with ease.
