mt bike 3:57:00 [3] 53.0 km (4:28 / km) +1057m 4:04 / km

Knee started off sore from "rest' days but got better after an hour or so.
I felt tired and energy less but pushed thru anyway.

Home - meandered up to Anstey Hill and up thru main tks to Range Rd Sth.
Down past Glen Ewin on Lower Hermitage and turned right on dirt up Millbrook Rd to next junction and then S on Fidlers Hill rd to top of cutting on main rd (between C of Ponds & Inglewood).
S again on dirt Tilmouth Rd almost to Paracombe. One of the big Millbrook reservoir gates was open (looked like it had been forced) and I was tempted to go explore, but the possibility of getting locked inside kept me pedalling on.
(had run in there a lot last century)
R again to Inglewood, where i stopped for a drink, then up on Blackhill rd.
At top I went onto Head rd to the end and then went 700m thru on a little known dirt tk to where Head rd started again. Out to Murphy Rd next to Highercombe golfcourse and up on LNE rd to top of Anstey Hill.
Back into park on dirt tks heading north (past my old home) and then took single tks down the hill.

Homeward via closed Halls rd next to quarry.
Noted they they had fixed all the fence holes quite substantially to prevent people heading there for a swim. But can still access it from halfway up Anstey Hill. Then rode Aquaduct tk until it stopped where they havent finished the last 3rd. However I have 2 holes in the fence to access it and rode up to Valley View drive and then did all the made tracks and exited down to linear pk. Tired.

Road Cycling 2:49:00 [3] 53.0 km (3:11 / km) +644m 3:00 / km

Tired, so didnt do TT ride.
Went from home - up Gorge - Cudlee Creek, where i met the TT group there.
Then up to Gum Weir, and then back via Chain of Ponds Hill, around reservoir to C Ck - gorge - home.
Must have been the motorbike time trial morning up Gorge - got passed by 10 bikes bout 1 min apart, all going like the clappers. Bakery at Athelstone has closed!

lawn mowing 2:00:00 [3]

Very tired today as i went out and caught up with L & S last night after my ride. Picked up my broken down mower ($90) and mowed the grass/ weeds that werent actually too long, not having been watered / rained upon recently. Then cleaned up weeds and other stuff around the house to discourage snakes ...filling up my bin and using half of neighbours.

Forgot to say that at about the 58km mark yesterday I had liquid hitting my leg and thought there was some rain...only a little later when i stopped did i realise that stans was leaking out a hole. Not having any bike plugs on me I found a small bit of gravel and put it in and covered it with cow manure, which actually stayed on and only needed replacing twice!

mt bike 4:02:00 [3] 74.0 km (3:16 / km) +1160m 3:02 / km

Long ride from Mt Pleasant - Tungkillo - Rockleigh and return.
Went with Uncool club riders for 1st half and they were even slower than normal. As they were only riding 1 way they did a car shuttle & as I wanted to go both ways i had been told to be at Mt P for a 9.30am start. They got back at that time and then spent the next half an hour plus having coffee at the bakery! I was not impressed. Even more so when they stopped after every hill ...all but 1 other rider were on Ebikes, so why the need to rest? Then after 17km they stopped to eat.

I hadnt been able to preplan my return route as UC leader Helen never lets on beforehand where exactly she is going... So I made the return plan up on the go and headed more eastward and found bigger hills and some nicer tracks. Near Tungkillo I came across the biggest car / truck graveyard ever ...over many acres almost as far as the eye could see...place called Tara and it also had Rolland transport there.

I probably didnt drink enough as got quite hot and tired on the return trip.
