Saturday Sep 26 #

rowing 30:00 [3] 6.0 km (5:00 / km)

My b'day but disappointed not to get a ride in. Back sore.

Thursday Sep 24 #

walk 30:00 [3]

Wednesday Sep 23 #

walk 30:00 [3]

Day 2 of O - pulled in controls around Chalks at end.
Luckily it was much less windy today, so all activities happened.

Tuesday Sep 22 #

mt bike 30:00 [3] 8.0 km (3:45 / km)

Lunchtime ride trying to find a group of lost kids.
Saw some people at far end of Chalks rd & chased them down but they were normal bushwalkers, not yr 9 kids

walk 30:00 [3]

Walk around Chalks putting out O controls for Cardjin college gp.
Luckily i was suitably dressed in raincoat & overpants as it rained a lot and blew a gale.
School insisted we couldnt have kids go under gum trees, so that ruled out my Chaiks intro courses. Luckily we still had the maze and my longer 6 courses were all in pine forest. 50 kids at once isnt easy.

We had to cancel kayaking & the bushwalk in Hale because of wind.
Kids BW'ed in pine forest & did humpty building etc instead of kayaking.
Mtb was ok too.

Standing all day makes my back incredibly sore

Monday Sep 21 #

mt bike 1:48:00 [3] 17.0 km (6:21 / km) +357m 5:45 / km

Did 13kms around Melrose trails, with some hike a bike...tks rutty.
Then drove to Willowie and did a quick lap of new "twisted Sisters" and a bit more before hastily driving home. Great flow trail.

Sunday Sep 20 #

mt bike 5:17:00 [3] 76.0 km (4:10 / km) +942m 3:56 / km

Others were doing an abbreviated Survey - Bridle tk ride which i didnt want to repeat. So rode with Stu & Glen via silo out to Booleroo (25kms) and then did my own thing as they headed back. Bit slow as hadnt planned any RWGPS route, so had to stop and look at ph regularly. Headed back towards Wirrabara but had to turn back twice because of muddy rds. Black Swamp rd was lovely though, with grass in the middle. Crossed over main rd and back via Dust Bowl Rd etc.
Windy as hell again, so hard solo.
