Saturday Mar 27 #

mt bike 4:20:00 [3] 60.0 km (4:20 / km)

Rode from Pt Noarlunga to Sellicks Beach along the clifftops.
Sauntered along & took a few different tracks, but all of them were sub-par, esp the one thru Aldinga scrub which i had to totally walk all but the first 20m.
Saw lots of hang gliders near Maslin - about 14,,,they said conditions were great.
Afterwards rode up to see the OHHill 4 hr twilight event - bit sad not to be doing it, Last hr or so was in the dark, so could see the lights from "home."

Friday Mar 26 #

mt bike 1:10:00 [3] 15.0 km (4:40 / km)

Another trip around OHHill - needed stress relief after venturing into centrlink office at Marion in the afternoon.
Also picked up my new laptop and was dreading getting everything installed online via Tech2 but the guy who helped was incredibly patient & good & everything was pretty set in an hour.

Thursday Mar 25 #

mt bike 1:20:00 [3] 20.0 km (4:00 / km)

Twilight ride again at OHHill
Going to miss the ease of getting out on great single tracks
Did Easy As descent & climb back up today - nice after rain but it will soon become dusty again.
Felt tired after day of doing chores - had 12 things to do all over Adelaide - got to 11 of them but 2 werent very productive
Conveyancer, bank, physio, framer, storage unit, MS's, taxman...
But 5 mins after setting off to trails felt much better

Wednesday Mar 24 #

mt bike 40:00 [3] 6.0 km (6:40 / km)

Slow ride with 4 yr old grand nephew up into the OHH trails.
Meant to do more later but got co-opted to make tea, and they eat early

Tuesday Mar 23 #

mt bike 2:30:00 [3] 37.0 km (4:03 / km)

Ride from Lobethal, where my bikes & van are stored
Meant to do more but spoke to Jack too long
On gravel bike &its big gears didnt like the hilly route that i took
found a spectacular ridgeline rd with fantastic views each side - Pedare park rd or something similiar
Then dinner with Amber, Dave & Eva

Monday Mar 22 #

mt bike 1:25:00 [3] 20.0 km (4:15 / km)

Evening around O'Hallaran hill...dark at end.
went down Gromflo - rutted & almost got overrun by an impatient guy seeking Strava glory no doubt) in last 100m.
Morning - went to a great Russian hairdresser - Tatiana (from Siberia) in local streets, then more laptop looking, then did my overdue tax.
Also sold my Mum's fur cape via marketplace - win, win.

Sunday Mar 21 #

Note

Drove from Seacombe to Holden Hill to search the packed storage facility for my passport - as conveyancer must see it for land title change.
I had no idea where the filing cabinets were, but luckily they were only a third of the way back and all was well within an hour. We actually packed better than it was before. Adam Smith was my trusty helper.
