Had to pick Cam up from work so parked at surf club and ran out to Round Hill via beaches and walking track. 24.30 minutes out and 23 back. Slight tail wind for return. First time I have run along a couple of the beaches and headlands so made a nice change.

Run from east wynyard on beaches and tracks around wynyard. Not ideal time to run as very hot. Was planning longer but too buggered to keep going. Trying to run consistent hourly km rates of around 10km per hour, so not too far off the mark this week. A little short but better than nothing.

Saturday run with Pete before work. River track run all to ourselves, ran out ok and felt like I cruised back. Nice way to start the day. Very muggy out.

Relaxing walk with Jo after work. Up the hill and along Dallas road.
Will start hill efforts next week on Seabrook road, 600m long and around 100m in altitude. Feel like i actually want to run again!

Loop Run with AB around Dooleys Track. Headed up Gentle Annie hill to look for the start of the track, missed it so kept going to the top and onto the track via Knights Road. Very solid climb of 3km to start the run, once on the track we headed to Chilcotts crossing and was able to get across the river and pick up the track which made for a round trip rather than out and back. Followed the trail back and cross crossing the river a couple of times, picked up a shit load of buzzies and spear grass on the paddock crossings which wasn't overly fun more for the fact of cleaning than anything. Got to the two hour mark and was about done, struggled home for the last 40 minutes especially on the vertical stuff and probably needed a couple more gels. Great trail and well worth the effort.
Garmin was set at 1.6km intervals and was as follows:
10.22 / 10.24 / 9.29 / 11.05 / 19.05 / 17.11 / 12.16 / 14.00 / 12.09 / 12.26 / 12.56 / 14.30

Great way to kick off the weekend with a run with Pete around the river track at Wynyard. Awesome morning very still and clear. Felt good for the trip and didn't push too hard and rn most of the way with Pete. Probably my favourite short run, no one else on the track.

Paddle on the cam , pretty cruisey and decided that I better fall off and practice getting on so. Rolled off and then spent a fair bit of time getting back on. So did it few more times and got better but still difficult. Water temperature is very nice at the minute.

KAW training very enjoyable " deal or no deal" circuit. Involved picking a number between 1 and 50 and then doing the excercise associated with it. Number 32 was a dosey - skip a lap of west park and number 40 wasn't much better - run a lap with hands on your head. Not overly happy when number 40!got chosen for a second time because they forgot it had been called out before! Fun hit out.

Paddle on the cam getting used to the vadja. Small amount of time at the mouth in some slop. Then couple laps of the river. Good fun.

Run with Cameron along coopers lane and back. Very big tail then head wind on the way out / back. Struggleville tonight, just ground it out tonight.

Run in the dial with AB. Magic morning for a trott, from motto cross track to Purton flats via tram track and return by dial road. Felt happy on the flats and down hills but big struggle on vertical bits. AB moving nicely especially up hill. Area made for enjoyable hit out.

Took the Vadja out for 1st paddle. On the cam with Jo (in her red boat) ..... Moved along nicely, very happy with it. Finished with a swim. Awesome day
