Bike 13:00 [3] 35.0 km (22 / km)

Very nice cruise home via table cape look out, timed the ride to finish at 4pm so just ticked along. Finished to a nice crowd and to the fact that we have raised as of the end onf the trip over $31,000 for mens health. Loved the journey and the trip was another reminder of the awesome playground we have here and its high time to grab JO, couple of boats and bikes and go see some more.

MTB 10:30:00 [3] 135.0 km (4:40 / km)

Probably berst ride of the trip, Corina to Smithton. The Western explorer is a super MTB ride ( probably should promote as this rather than by vehicle). Some bloody big climbs but also super views. Bit of tow rope work on this leg to keep moving and a tail wind into smithton - very nice.

event report to come........

Paddle from Pieman Heads to Corina, first six kms were great with a big southerly, we were surfing runners up the river. Vjada made for this stuff and steve was flying, I sat in behind for a tow and there was an amazing difference in stroke rates just to keep up.

Bike 12:30:00 [3] 207.0 km (3:37 / km)

New distance record for a road bike leg for me, started at Derwent Bridge and rode to Granville Harbour. Rained most of the way just to make it interesting.

Trek 14:50:00 [3] 62.57 km (14:13 / km)

Trek the overland track from Ronney Creek to Lake StClair. Were on track for a 12 hour journey but Doogs was gone a Pelion, so we sat him on the front and let his pace take us home. Felt very strong today but definiely over the "out there" pack continually slipping whilst running. Got to the lake and it was very cold and windy (head wind), we all had sit on tops (except for my red rocket) and darkness not to far away and given that the boys werent in that good a nick (apart from steve, me and probably one other) i suggest that for safety we did not attempt it, every one agreed so we did a boat transfer for this leg.

Bike 8:30:00 [3] 144.5 km (3:32 / km)

Road ride from Boat Harbour to Cradle Mountain. Plenty of climbing work, started off slow but finished stronger. Cradle Mountain link road a real beauty, climb to the look out is a very solid hill.
