Super fun paddle in the waves at Surf club. Very nice sets - just right, no chop, but a fair bit of traffic. Very enjoyable outing.

Run hills 50:00 [4] 8.0 km (6:15 / km)

Hill efforts - first for a long time. From surf club to deviation, track that leads from highway up to soccer field, very tidy little climb! Did 5 reps - walk, 1.21,1.08,1.15,1.16. Walk = if I did not run the whole way. Ran back to the surf club via fire station.

Short MTB ride at resovoir drive with a bit of hill climbing. good fun to be back on the mtb again.

First road ride since the marathon and legs stuggled a bit. Southerly wind so no rest either way on ride from park to wynyard and return. Struggle to get out of bed!

Cruisy paddle from surf club out then up the river and return. Jo paddle blue boat and getting into the river was fun - surfing waves in a boat with no rudder.

Got dropped off on Bryan's beach on Freycinet and trekked back to the car park at Coles Bay with Jo. Last bit of the peninsula that I had not done and Sections Jo had not done, so made for a great walk. Very warm day and great scenery completed a great day out.

Trail run at Coles bay. Legs feeling much better after Sunday and keen to get out and have a run around. Very relaxing trot through the bush.

Back into AB circuit after a few days off so started at ten reps. Felt comfortable (as you can) so going to try a couple of sets..........sometime later next week?

Not sure why but ran the Cadbury marathon today. Very limited perpetration made for very solid hit out. Started well and was happy to turn at the 23km in 2 hours neat........ Then fun began, got to 26 km and suffered a dizzy spell - first time this has happened to me and not a nice feeling, had a sit down then a little walk then started running again all ok to 33km mark then same thing happened. Got over that the same way and then just eked home on super sore legs. Got to the final hill with 500 to go and Kathy Freeman ran up along side, wasn't having a bar of that so found a little extra to get over the line before she did........much to the amusement of Jo.

Course not to bad....but not a fan of the road running. Will never attempt again without proper build up. On the positive -got through the journey and the event provided some excellent mental training that should help sometime??

Feeling lethargic for most of the day so evening stroll with Jo very therapeutic. Followed by AB circuit, getting through 1 set of 15 ok now so might reduce number of reps and add second set next week.

Paddle from surf club to doctors rocks with marms. Bit of an easterly swell running and sloppy around doctors rocks but great day for it.

Run around wynyard on a very hot afternoon. Just shuffled along and didn't put too much effort in. If weather is like this in SA for XPD then it could be a tough hit out.
