From home to Somerset via the murchison highway, then along the coast to burnie surf club. Pretty cruisy effort, but was very nice on the beaches. Got a bit crowded at west park with 321 go on.

Quick afternoon paddle from surf club up the cam and return.

KAW training session. another solid work out. Feeling very stiff and unflexible at the minute but gradually getting back to being able to go hard for the entire session.

Lazy recovery walk after sunday hit out. From west park to top of somerset along the coast. Got dropped off by Jo who was training then collected after she finished. Might even break into a jog next week.

Ride with the epic boys, Steve, Kent and Doogs. From cam river to waratah, Ridley and return. Bloody solid hit out on a cracking day. Steve and Kent are moving very nicely indeed. I took until Gorge to start feeling reasonable. Legs very sore at the finish.

Run leg of Freycinet day two. Started ok and felt like i moved ok until half way up 1st climb, got to the top and had a gel that i had pre mixed in a little water bottle which seemed to have immediate impact cruised down to wineglass and along the beach - hard packed for the first time ever- then back up to the saddle ranprobably 3/4 of it and picked up 6 other runners, second gel at the top then return to the lodge, picked four more up the return journey - pretty excited about passing people - felt better as the run went on and finished feeling strong. Gels seem to work well, maybe need one more a bit earlier. Quickest run time ive done on this leg.

MTB leg Freycinet challenge, only leg for the day so tried to push hard, felt like i moved ok but probably still had a bit left in the tank. First ride of any kind since xpd.

Exhaustive session of KAW. Flattest i have felt since XPD and struggled big time. Did the "rolling 100" a series of body exercises interspersed by 400m runs.
