Busy day yesterday so ended up doing 5KM on the treadmill.

Saturday afternoon ride with AB at Stubbs Road, Mostly single track seen a new section that I had not been before which had a couple of nice little climbs. Did the track in reverse to what I have done previously.
Had the pack on for the first time since training started. Good reminder that I need to get out and do a few KM on the MTB

Lots of rain and wind so stayed indoors & had a run on the tredmill. Fartlek programme for 45m. Not hugely motivated so felt slow and lazy.

1km warm up on treadmill then into push up / sit up routine managed to push up 10/10 reps, felt slightly easier (just a bit) than the first one!!
Finished with a 1km on treadmill - Nice sharp session.

Field Hockey 1:20:00 [3]

Played game of hockey tonight, felt good and ran out the game well, we even had a win so enjoyable night.

Paddle (SKI) 1:00:00 [3]

Paddle on the ski with AB this morning did warm up then tried 1-4-1 efforts. Dark when we started, low tide again so had to dodge the trees in the dark. Felt ok today. Nice way to start the day.

GYM 30:00 [2]

Decided need some major work on core fitness so started core exercise routine. Read in a few trianing logs about a routine called "snake bite" so I thought I would give this a try - very aptly named. I have started very slowly - after thinking that I could immediately push out maximum reps then realizing I was in fantasy land - will start with 5 Minute efforts this week then increase two minutes each week. Got 10/10 push/sit ups out. Holy shit I need some work in this area!!
